When I asked if they could order a certain bike in my size or if any of the other City Bike locations had the bike I was interested in, I was told that I could try a different brand's bike with the correct size or go a size up since it wouldn't make much of a difference, and then they could order the bike for me. I went back one more time since I was considering buying a new road bike to replace my 1987 bike. You can bring your bike in and we can do it for you." Not sure if it's because I'm a woman or what, but I came in knowing exactly what I wanted, so I don't think I gave off a new biker vibe. "Are you sure these are the right size?" "Are you sure you need Schrader valves?" "These are really tough to put on - I think you'll have trouble doing it. When I went to buy new tires a few months ago, the salesperson could not believe that I knew the correct tire size for my bike or that I'd be able to change the tubes/tires on my own. It was my default shop when my friend worked there, and I wanted to keep supporting City Bikes after he moved. I'll vouch for City Bikes in Barracks Row being bad too.
